Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights went 1-1 on the weekend beating Dickinson State University 61-58 in Dickinson, North Dakota. The first quarter was a wash 14-14. The Skylights pulled ahead to go into halftime by six after
Aiyanna Big Man hit a three at the buzzer. After half, the Skylights took the third quarter 17-14. The Blue Hawks had a run in fourth, outscoring Northern 17-11. The Skylight a couple free throws at the end to take the game by three.
Individual Stats:
The Skylights had three athletes in double figures. Northern was led by
Shyan Krass, who had 12 points going 50 percent from the field.
Canzas HisBadHorse and
Savannah Toms each added 10 points. Forner led the team in rebounds with seven.
The Blue Hawks were led by Katherine Fox, who had 18 points going 6-14 from the field. Samantha Oase and Anhelica Shanrock each added 15 points. Oase led the team in rebounds with seven.
