Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Light lost against Bushnell University in their home opener 66-61 in Havre, Montana. The first half was a battle. Bushnell took the lead with 8:34 on the clock, as they were able to keep the lead going into half time 34-30. The Lights came out of half time with energy and taking the lead 36-34. The Beacons didn't go away, as they took the lead back and controlled the clock the rest of the game. Â

The Lights were led by
Cinque Maxwell who had 16 points going 6-10 from the field.
Leon Sayers IV went 5-11 from the field with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Xavier Bailey led the team in rebounds with 10.
