Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team beat Carroll College in Helena, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights won against the Fighting Saints in five sets (18-25, 19-25, 25-23, 26-24 and 15-10). Carroll took the lead early in the first set after a 6-1 run (16-7). The Fighting Saints kept a steady lead to take the first set. The Saints kept the momentum into the second set taking the lead early. The Skylights went on a 6-0 run, but it wasn't enough to take the set.

Northern turned the third set around, as they took a good lead early 13-5. Carroll was able to come back and tie the set at 22. The Skylights went on a 3-1 run to take the third set. Northern pushed the momentum into the fourth set taking the lead 11-5. The Saints put together some good runs to take the lead 21-20. The Skylights finished the set strong going on a 7-2 run to push the match to five sets. In the fifth set, the Skylights took the lead early 6-1. Carroll tried to battle back, but it wasn't enough to win the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Alana Graves with 14 kills and a hitting percentage of .165. Lexa Stock had 13 kills. Baily Egan led the team in digs with 32. Macee Murphy led the Skylights with 31 assists.

The Saints were led by Rachael Stacey with 14 kills hitting a percent of .200. Julia Carr led the team in digs with 39, as Hannah Schweikert led in assists with 47.

Stats of the Match:
The MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .120 on the day, while Carroll hit .141. Northern also had 113 digs to the Saints 111. Northern accounted for 10 blocks and six aces.  

The Skylights so Far:
The Skylights are 12-15 in their season and 4-11 in Conference.
