Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost against University of Providence with a score of 75-65 in Great Falls, Montana. It was anyone's game at the beginning of the first half. The Argo's made a 9-0 run to push the lead to 10 points. They kept a good lead going into halftime 42-31. The Lights shot 30 percent from the field and 33 from the three-point line in the first half. Providence shot 55 percent from the field and went 3-6 from the three. Providence kept a stead lead in the second half to take the game.
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by
Zackry Martinez who went 5-11 from behind the arc with 22 points.
Xavier Bailey was just shy of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Dae'Kwon Watson added 11 points.
The Argos were led by Sam Vining who had 17 points and five rebounds. Jake Olsen had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot a field goal percentage of 32, 35 percent from the arc, and 80 percent from the free throw line.
The Argos shot 52 percentage from the field, 37 percent from the 3-point line, and 85 percent from the free throw.
