Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played their first game in Arizona. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost to the Red Hawks in three sets (25-20, 25-18, and 25-22). In the first set, the Red Hawks got into a grove and took the lead early (4-0). They continued their lead to the end of the set. Benedictine jumped on the Skylights early out scoring them 10-3. The Skylights couldn't keep up, as they fell the second set. The third set was anyone game. The score was tied 19-19. The Red Hawks put together a couple runs to take the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Alana Graves with seven kills and a hitting percentage of .357. Jessalyn Chvilicek added seven kills with a percent of .200. Macee Murphy led the team in digs and assists with 12 and 11.

Benedictine Mesa was were led by Kylie Bartel with 16 kills hitting a percent of .364. Hattie Patton led the team in digs with 18, as Vivianna Galvan led in assists with 18.

Stats of the Match:
The MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .205 on the day, while the Red Hawks hit .254. Northern also had 56 digs to their 57.
