Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost on the road against Montana Tech with a score of 65-55 in Butte, Montana. Montana Tech got off to a hot start outscoring the Skylights 20-11 in the first quarter. They kept the momentum going in the second quarter pushing the lead 41-19 going into halftime. The Skylights went on a run in second half and cut it to nine points. But it wasn't enough.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Taya Trottier who was just shy of a double-double with 13 points and eight rebounds. Canzas HisBadHorse added 12 points.

The Orediggers were led by Hadley Humphreys who had 13 points and eight rebounds. Brooke Badovinac added nine points.
