Providence (Mont.) delivered a dominant performance on the mat, rolling to a 31–10 victory over Montana State University-Northern by winning seven of the ten bouts and securing bonus points in multiple weight classes.

The Argos set the tone early, opening the dual with four straight wins. At 125 pounds, Kobi Johnson earned a forfeit to put Providence on the board, followed by Boden Banta's 13–5 major decision at 133 over Kolten Powers. Providence continued to build momentum at 141 as Kina`u McBrayer posted a major decision over Caleb Morales, and at 149, Jesse Anson electrified the match with a first-period fall at the 3:00 mark to push the team lead to 19–0.

Providence stayed in control at 157, where Irish Furthmyre claimed an 11–6 decision beating Ryan Graves, extending the advantage further. The Lights got on the scoreboard at 165, as Justin Windauer earned a 11–3 major decision to stop the Argos' run.

The teams traded victories in the middle weights. Providence's Brady Ellison edged out a 4–1 sudden-victory win at 174, while Northern answered with back-to-back decisions from Nathan Andrina (184) and Cade Gubler (197) to narrow the gap.

Providence closed the dual in emphatic fashion at heavyweight, as Gabriel Finley secured a technical fall (18–1, 4:37), sealing the 31–10 team victory.
