The Frontier Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships saw several strong efforts from Northern's distance runners as the Skylights and Lights competed against the conference's best.

On the women's side, Sierra Summers led the way in the 5,000-meter run, placing seventh with a time of 18:58.83. Elizabeth DeVries and Emerson Kinsella followed close behind one another, finishing 14th and 15th with times of 21:44.68 and 21:45.35, respectively.

In the women's mile, DeVries paced Northern with an 11th-place finish in 6:14.65. Kinsella took 13th in 6:20.47, while Kaitlyn Bancroft crossed shortly after in 6:28.41. Bancroft also competed in the 800-meter run, placing 12th with a time of 2:40.70.

Deserae Toombs represented the Skylights in the 3,000-meter run, finishing 20th in 12:05.59.

On the men's side, James Stensland-Plymale competed in both distance events. He placed 12th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:47.63 and later finished 16th in the mile, clocking 4:37.77.
