Conner VanDyken Bio (1st Season)
Conner coached in 2019-20 with the Vanguard Lions.  His main responsibilities were in operations (travel, scheduling, meals, statistics, etc.). He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Fitness Education.  As a player at SPU for the Falcons, they made the national tournament both in his freshman and senior seasons.  They won the GNAC conference tournament his senior year and he was awarded the teams most inspirational player, as voted on by teammates, two out of the four years he was there.

At Manhattan Christian High School in Churchill, Montana, under highly successful Coach Jeff Bellach, he set the all-time scoring record for men’s basketball. He was selected All-State his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years.

“Conner is excited about, and will do a great job of, taking on a larger coaching role and doing whatever he can to help the Lights win games.  Conner will play a big part in helping our student-athletes become even more successful, great, young men both on and off the court,” says Coach Huse.
