Paty Figueiredo enters her second year as assistant volleyball coach at Montana State University- Northern. In 2005, Paty played Beach Brazilian Junior’s National team and won Gold medal in the Beach Volleyball Games of the Community of Portuguese Speaking in CPLP, Luanda, Angola. She also won Gold medal in the XV South American volleyball championships in Peru playing for the National Brazilian Junior Team in 2006-07. She was Awarded Outstanding Student Academics and Team Membership Volleyball. Received “Who is Who” honor among students in American Universities and Colleges in recognition of outstanding merit and accomplishment as student athlete at Missouri State University - West Plains in. In 2009, Paty was Named to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Women's All-American team and Elected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Two-Year College All-American team at Missouri state university Setter/Right side. Her team made the Final Four Championships in San Antonio, Texas. Florida State University in the year 2010-11. Paty was assistant Volleyball Coach at University of Texas at El Paso from 2016-18. In 2019, Paty was inducted into Grizzly Athletics Hall of Fame at Missouri State University – West Plains. Paty is married to Robson Da Costa who is also a coach and coached the Israel Beach National Team 2007-2009 and Beach/Indoor professional teams in Brazil.
