Biography

2024-25…Our “Big Man” Shane had his best season to date during the 2024-25 wrestling season racking up 19 wins and 7 pins.  Shane placed 6th at the MVC Invite and 6th at the Cascade Conference Championships which earned him his first trip to the NAIA National Championships!  The “Big Man” had some really exciting dual meet wins over All-Americans and ranked wrestlers. 
2023-24…Shane had his best season to date tallying 15 wins on the season.  In the second half of the season, Shane found his form and took down multiple ranked opponents.  At the Cascade Conference Championships, Shane placed 7th and narrowly missed a National Qualifying spot.  There are big expectations for Shane in the 2024-25 season. 
2022-23…Shane saw some action at 285 while playing a supporting role.  He placed 4th at the Battle of the Rockies.
2021-22…In the Fall term, Shane was playing football at the College of Idaho before transferring in the Spring term to MSUN to wrestle. 
HIGH SCHOOL…A Nevada State Placer going 4th.
