Havre, Mont.- The wrestling dual between Montana State University Northern and Eastern Oregon University ended with a 30-13 win for the Lights. Coach
Tyson Thivierge welcomed back his former assistant wrestling coach Dustyn Azure (now the head coach at EOU).
Out of the 10 matches, the Lights collected seven wins. Sophomore
Andrew Bartel (165) won by fall, as did seniors
Ben Stroh (184) and
Taylor Kornoely (285). Coach Thivierge saw two of his freshman win by decision,
Dylan Veis (141) and
Steeler French (174). Also collecting wins for the Lights was sophomore
Drake Randall (149) and senior
Tommy Cooper (157) who both won by decision.
MSU-N will be on the road with a very busy schedule next week as they travel to:
