The Skylights lost in straight sets to the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors Thursday evening at the Activity Center in Lewiston, Idaho. Set scores were 19-25, 17-25, 20-25. Â
Stat of the Match
Northern collected 29 kills on 96 attempts (10 total team errors) and recorded a .198 hitting percentage. Once again, senior outside hitter
Cassie Krueger led the charge for the Skylights with 11 kills on 29 attempts while sophomore middle hitter
Timi Severson collected seven kills on 24 attempts.
Turning Point
To start the first set, Northern traded points with the Warriors and led 7-5. LCSC used multiple three-point runs throughout the remainder of the set to come away with the first win of the match. The Skylights made a stand in the second set as they once again traded points with the Warriors and brought the score within two points (7-9). That was the closest Northern got to the Warriors for the rest of the set. Northern saw a lead late in the set at 17-16, but Lewis-Clark's attack arsenal and a four-point run helped them edge the Skylights 25-20.Â

Northern moves to 3-8 in the Frontier Conference and 9-16 overall.
