Story of the Game
In their final regular season match, the Skylights were swept by the No. 15 Montana Tech Orediggers (23-25, 15-25, 13-25).  

Stat of the Match
Northern tallied 24 kills on 104 attempts in the match.  Freshman setter Shania Neubauer led the team with 23 assists and no ball handling errors.

Turning Point
In the first set that saw the action tied 11 times and four lead changes, the Skylights gave the Orediggers all they could handle.  Northern hit a .163 in the first set with 11 kills on 43 attempts, but that was the last time the Skylights would hit above .100 for the rest of the match.  The Orediggers went on to route the Skylights in the next two sets to claim the victory.

The Skylights So Far
Northern finishes the regular season with a record of 3-9 in the Frontier Conference and 9-17 overall.

Up Next
The Skylights head into the Frontier Conference volleyball tournament as the No. 6 seed and will take on hosting school Carroll College (No. 3 seed) on Friday evening.  Match time is set for 7:00PM at the P.E.
