The Skylights claimed their second win of the Johnson & Wales Wildcat Classic as they took down Mayville State University three sets to none (25-10, 27-25, 26-24).

Stat of the Match
Sophomore setter Hailey Warren tallied 45 total assists in the victory over the Comets. 

Turning Point
Although the Skylights held the Comets to just 10 points in the first set, the next two sets were battles.  Mayville State built a three point lead (20-17) late in the third set, but two aces from senior defensive specialist Kylie Pasieka aided Northern's four-point rally that put the ahead 21-20.   

The Skylights So Far
This victory puts the Skylights on a two-match winning streak.  Their overall record for the season is now 2-2.

Up Next
The Skylights travel to Butte on Aug. 25 and 26 to compete in the Big Sky Challenge.  They will take on Bellevue University, Evergreen State College, Eastern Oregon University, and UC Merced.  Live video and stat links will be posted in the schedule section as soon as they are made available.
