Stat of the Match
Northern's serving performance helped to ignite their offense throughout the match. Â The Skylights quickly went up 6-0 to start the first set due in large part to senior defensive specialist
Kylie Pasieka's three aces in her first 6 serves. Â As a team, Northern collected 10 aces with just one error on the day. Â
Pasieka led the team with four.
Turning Point
After winning sets one and two by just five total points, Northern went on a run to start the third set and held the Redhawks to just 12 team points. Â Aces from
Pasieka and sophomore middle hitter
Timi Severson early in the set contributed to a 9-1 Skylight run that eventually led to the sweep in three sets.
