In their first home game since Jan. 2, the Skylights dropped their sixth straight game to the visiting Orediggers of Montana Tech 59-71 in a contest that featured five ties and six different lead changes.

Stat of the Game
Despite the loss, Northern had four players score in double-digits on the night. Three seniors led the charge with guard
Brandy Lambourne contributing a team high 15 points, forward
Kealani Sagapolu chipped in 14, and guard
Peyton Filius picking up 13. Junior forward
Jessica Curl tallied 10 points.

Turning Point
The second stanza saw the Orediggers outscore Northern 18-12 to take the 33-31 lead heading into the locker room at the half. The Skylights battled throughout the third quarter, but Tech secured a six point cushion going into the fourth quarter up 49-43. Northern fell behind as many as 18 points midway through the final quarter and pulled within 12 points at the 1:00 mark as Filius connected on a three-point shot.

Northern moves to 1-7 in Frontier Conference play and 9-10 overall. Â
