Lights Fall to Battlin' Bears 52-13

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights traveled to Billings in a Frontier Conference match up against Rocky Mountain College on Saturday afternoon. The Lights fall to the Battlin' Bears 52-13. Northern had 365 total yards (121 rushing and 244 passing), while Rocky accounted for 595 yards (183 rushing and 412 passing). The Lights had one sack, as Rocky had a forced fumble.

Individual Stats:
Northerns quarterback Tommy Wilson led the offence throwing the ball 43 times and completed 27 with 244 yards adding one touchdown. He also added 16 rushing attempts with a net yardage of 78. Bryce Bumgardner received nine catches for 93 yards, as Marvin William received six catches for 65 yards with one touchdown. Jeff Tinae led the defense in tackles with 13. Damien Nelson had two total tackles and broke up two passes. Trendae Umi-Tuato'o added three tackles and one sack for the day.

Rocky was led by Jacob Bakken who completed 17 passes on 24 attempts for 363 yards. He also added two rushing attempts with 57 yards. Cody McCombs had nine rushing attempts for 54 yards and one touchdown. Max Gray received four passes for 83 yards with a touchdown. Rockys defense was led by Dallas Mack with 10 total tackles and one pass breakup. Kendell Jefferson added seven tackles and four breakups. Ty Reynolds had six tackles and one forced fumble.

The Lights so Far:
The Lights fall to 1-6 overall and 0-6 in conference, as Rocky Mountain College moves to 5-2 overall and 4-2 in conference.
