Story of the Game:
The Skylights hosted University of Alberta- Augustana on Monday night. Northern won against the Vikings 80-55. The Skylights went into half time with a score of 41-27. In the fourth quarter, Northern ripped open the game scoring 23 points to their 11.
 
Individual Stats:
There were four Skylights in double figures on the night. The Skylights were led 
Jessica Curl, who hit her career high as a Skylight with 20 points. 
Sydney Hovde had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds (4 offensive, 6 defensive). 
Lily Hilderbrand and 
Gokce Aslan had 10 points each. 
Sabin Keo added seven assists.
 
The Vikings were led by led by Jessica Haenni and Torey Lauber with 11 points each. Emma Van Bruinessen added eight points.
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 56.7, 30 from the arc, and 69.2 percent from the free throw line. Northern forced them into 17 turnovers for the night. As a group, the Skylights had 25 assists.
 
Augustana shot 36.7 percentage from the field, 25 percent from the 3-point line, and 50 percent from the free throw.

The Skylights move to 6-5 in the overall season and 0-2 in conference play.

Northern will head to Arizona for the Phoenix Frontier Challenge. The Tournament is Dec. 19-21. First game is against Benedictine University at Mesa at 6 p.m. The second game is on Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. against University of Science and Arts. The last game is on Dec. 21 with a match-up against San Diego Christian.
