Story of the Game:
The Lights had their second game at the Cactus Classic in Chandler, Arz. Northern got their firsts win at the Cactus Classic against Embry- Riddle 67-52. At half time, the Lights were leading by a score of 34-26. Northern outscored Embry-Riddle in the second half 33-26.
 
Individual Stats:
The MSU-Northern Lights had three athletes in double figures. The Lights were led by Devin Bray that had 25 points. Devin went 7-10 from behind the arc. Mascio McCadney had 13 points and added six assists. Adam Huse added 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
 
Nick Johnson led Embry- Riddle in points with 18 and rebounds with 7. Connor Verdugo, Ryan Skurdal, and Gilbert Ibarra each had seven points.
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot 40.3 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from behind the arc, and 40 percent from the free throw line.
 
Embry- Riddle shot 36.4 percentage from the field, 25 percent from the 3-point line, and 47.1 from the free throw.
 
The Lights so Far:
The Lights move to 8-5 in the overall season and 0-2 in conference play.
