Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights played Eastern Oregon University on Saturday night in La Grande, Oregon. The Lights lose to the Mountaineers 7-45. Northern tallied 239 yards of total offense (168 passing and 71 rushing), while the Mountaineers accounted for 523, of which 222 yards were on the ground.Â

Northern quarterback
Brenden Medina went 15 for 32 through the air for 149 yards and rushed for one touchdown.Â
Damari Cual-Davis caught nine passes for 114 yards.
Cameron Taylor carried the ball 17 times for 34 yards. Northern's defense was led by
Hunter Riley who accounted for 11 total tackles.
Jaren Maki added nine tackles and one interception. Â
Eastern Oregon Kai Quinn quarterback completed 24 of 34 passes for 257 yards and one touchdown. He also led in rushing yards with 113. Running back Victor Dias carried the ball 13 times for 76 yards. Isaiah Thomas led the receivers with three catches for 80 yards. The defense was led by Gunnar Blix who each had eight tackles.Â
The Lights so Far:
The Lights fall to 1-5 on the season (0-5 Frontier). Eastern Oregon University is 2-3 in Frontier play.

The Lights will host next weekend for a matchup with Rocky Mountain College. Kickoff is set for 1pm Saturday.
