Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights played Carroll College on Saturday Evening in Havre. The Lights lost to the Fighting Saints 6-27. Northern tallied 294 yards of total offense (168 passing and 126 rushing), while the Fighting Saints accounted for 295, of which 137 yards were on the ground. There were five sack on the game (four on MSUN).

Northern quarterback
Tre' Long went 16 for 28 through the air for 144 yards and rushed for one touchdown.Â
Bryce Bumgardner caught five passes for 55 yards, while Marvin Williams Jr. also had three catches for 35 yards and one touchdown.Â
Jett Robertson carried the ball 11 times for 54 yards. Northern's defense was led by
Jaren Maki who accounted for 11 total tackles.
Joe Fehr added two tackles and one sack.
Ostin Welch,
Dylan Wampler, and
Hunter Riley each had one breakup.
Carroll quarterback Devan Bridgewater completed 9 of 26 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Major Ali carried the ball 13 times for 75 yards. Shane Sipes led the receivers with 5 catches for 119 yards with one touchdown. The defense was led by Payton Sexe who had seven tackles and two sacks. Rex Lrby and Craig Kein each had one sack. Craig Kein and Dylan Kresage each had one forced fumble. Brian FauntLeRoy had two interception for 47 yards.
The Lights so Far:
The Lights drop to 1-8 on the season (0-8 Frontier). Carroll College moves to 5-3 in conference.

The Lights will host Southern Oregon for senior night next weekend. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.
