Hawk's Wings Get Clipped By Skylights 82-45

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights played on Friday night against Dickinson State University at 6 p.m. The Skylights held Dickinson to 45 points, as Northern scored 82. In the first half, the Skylights outscored the Hawks 24-12. At half time, the Skylights increased the lead to 51-25. The Skylights held Dickinson at 20 points in the second half.
 
Individual Stats:
There were four Skylights in double figures on the night. The Skylights were led by Hailey Nicholson, who had 20 points going 9-13 from the field, six rebounds, and five assists. Tiara Gilham went 7-10 from the field scoring 17 points. Sydney Hovde and Reilly Walsh each had 10 points. Hovde also added seven rebounds. McKenzie Gunter had eight points and six assists, as Kenya Lorton added four assists.  
 
Dickinson was led by Ashlie Larson, who had 13 points on the night going 5-12 from the field. Sydney Clark and Danielle Wallace each had six points. Wallace was the top rebounder for the hawks with eight.

The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 53.6, 46.2 percent from the arc, and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. The Skylights had 27 assists to nine turnovers.
 
The Hawks shot 27.4 percentage from the field, 18.5 percent from the 3-point line, and 75 percent from the free throw.
