The No. 9 Lights wrestling finished day one at the Cascade Conference Championships. Northern had 12 wrestlers competing in the Cascade Conference Championships. There are seven athletes that are still competing for the championship round (Matt Weber, Brandon Weber, Andrew Bartel, Chase Short, Steeler French, Isaac Bartel, and Jase Stokes). The other five are still in the running for third place (Robert Pair, Nick Kunz, Landon Bailey, Tony Evans, and Dylan Veis).

No. 13 Robert Pair- 125- Robert had a first round bye. In his second match, He lost in SV-1 3-1 against No. 7 Barerra Francisco.

No. 11 Nick Kunz- 125- Nick lost in his first round in a Dec. 9-7 against Alex Ursua. He received a Bye in his second round.

Landon Bailey- 133- Landon won his first round against Eli Walston be a Dec. 9-4. He lost in his second match by Justin Coon by a Fall 1:10.

No. 2 Matt Weber- 141- Matt won his first round against Adrian Marrufo by a Fall 5:13. His second match, he won by a Dec. 7-0 against Justin Acuff.

No. 20 Tony Evans- 149- Tony lost his first match against No. 10 Shonn Roberts with a Fall 5:57. He won his second round against Zac Wigzell by a MD 14-3.

Dylan Veis- 149- Dylan lost his first round to No, 11 Devin Everk by a MD 9-0. He came back to win his second match against Berit Sturgeon by SV-1 4-3.

No. 4 Brandon Weber- 157- Brandon won his first match against Wyatt Kesler by a Fall :32. He won his second match by a Fall 2:01 against Noel Magallanes.

No. 11 Andrew Bartel- 165- Andrew had a first round bye. He won his second round against No. 8 Alejandro Garcia by a Dec. 5-2.

Chase Short- 174- Chase won his first round match against Rodney Kincaid by MD 11-3.

Steeler French- 184- Steeler won his first round against Calvin McKinnis by MD 12-1.

No. 2 Isaac Bartel- 197- Isaac had a bye for his first round. In his second round, he beat Jeremiah Smith by MD 15-3.

Jase Stokes- 285- Jase had bye his first round. Jase won his second round against Tony DaCosta with a Fall 5:43.
