Story of the Game:
The Lights won 75-72 on senior night in a Frontier Conference matchup against Montana Western on Saturday night in Havre, Mont. Northern was up at half time 38-34. Western went on an 11-0 run to start the half. The Lights battled back in the game, as Caulin hit a big three to put Northern up by one 73-72. Caulin got fouled and made two free throws to put them in the lead by three points.
 
Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by Caulin Bakalarski with 30 points going 5-6 from the three point line and 10-13 from the field. Kavon Bey had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Justin Dunsmore added 12 points.
 
The Bulldogs were led by Kooper Kidgell with 22 points going 8 for 14 from the field. Cedric Boone added 14 points.
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot 50 percent from the field (29-57), 50 percent from behind the arc (8-16), and 100 percent from the free throw line.
 
Montana Western shot 49 percentage from the field, 46 percent from the 3-point line, and 57 percent from the free throw.
 
The Lights so Far:
The Lights move to 17-13 in the overall season and 9-9 in conference play. The Bulldogs drop to 9-20 overall and 3-15 in conference play.
