Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights played No. 25 Montana Tech on a snowy Saturday afternoon in a Frontier Conference game in Havre. The Lights lost to the Orediggers 42-0. Northern tallied 124 yards of total offense (66 passing and 58 rushing), while the Orediggers accounted for 386, of which 237 yards were on the ground.Â

Northern quarterback
Brenden Medina went 11 for 29 through the air for 66 yards.
Jake Horner caught three passes for 24 yards, while
Bryce Bumgardner also had four catches for 21 yards. Â
Jett Robertson carried the ball 17 times for 53 yards. Northern's defense was led by
Jake Norby who accounted for 11 total tackles (five solo). Jeren Maki had eight tackles.
Montana Tech quarterback Jet campbell completed nine of 18 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Blake Counts carried the ball 23 times for 126 yards. Trevor Hoffman led the receivers with three catches for 61 yards with two touchdowns. The defense was led by Ike Schweikert and Carter Myers each had seven tackles. Montana Tech had four sacks, and five break-ups.

The Lights drop to 1-4 on the season (0-4 Frontier). Montana Tech moves to 3-1.
Up Next:
The Lights will have a bye next week and then head to La Grande, Ore. next weekend for a matchup with Eastern Oregon university. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday.
