Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost to Montana Tech 62-58 on Saturday in Havre, Montana. Montana Tech outscored the Skylight in the first quarter 21-16. The Diggers went on a 6-0 run to finish the second quarter going into half time (37-31).
Montana Tech extended the lead in the third quarter (52-43). Peyton Kehr hit an and one with 1:36 left in the game to go up by one. Mesa Williams hits a two-point shot to take the lead by one. The Skylights turned the ball over and fouled. Dani Urick hit two free throws to take the lead by three. The Skylights couldn't finish on the other end, as Soda Rice goes one-of- two from the free throw line.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Peyton Kehr and Tiara Gilham, who each had 13 points and Gilham added right rebounds. Allix Goldhahn nine points going 4-7 from the field. Sydney Hovde led the team in rebounds with nine.
 
The Diggers were led by Celestina Faletoi, who had 18 points with eight rebounds. Dani Urick added 12 points. Brooke Heggie and Mesa Williams each had 10 points.

Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 38, 38 percent from the arc, and 70 percent from the free throw line.
 
Montana Tech shot 37 percentage from the field, 33 percent from the 3-point line, and 73 percent from the free throw.
