Skylights Go 0-2 This Weekdend

The MSU-Northern Skylights played in a tournament down in great falls this last weekend. The Skylights fell to both teams; Corban University 54-59, and Central Baptist College 58-64.

Corban University

In the first game against Corban, Northern went up at half time 33-28. The Skylights pushed the lead to 10 points in the third, as the warriors kept coming and cut the lead to seven going into the fourth. Northern was only about to put down five points to drop to the Warriors.

Corban University shot 45 percentage from the field, 36 percent from the 3-point line, and 63 percent from the free throw.

The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 34, 18 percent from the arc, and 83 percent from the free throw line.

Central Baptist

Against Central Baptist, Northern outscored them in the first quarter. The Mustangs came back outscoring the Skylights to move ahead into half time. 31-25. The Skylights got with six points, but couldn't take the lead or the game.  

The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 37, 38 percent from the arc, and 63 percent from the free throw line.
 
Central Baptist College shot 42 percentage from the field, 41 percent from the 3-point line, and 81 percent from the free throw.
 

Individual Stats:
During the two games the Skylights were led by Peyton Kehr, who had 36 points going 13-25 from the field. Sydney Hovde added 15 points and 24 rebounds. Ryley Kehr had 16.

Up Next:
The Skylights will head to Washington to play three games. Their first game is on November 10 against Pacific Lutheran University at 8 p.m. MT (7 p.m. PT). The Skylights will play Northwest University on November 12 at 8:30 p.m. MT (7:30 PT). Their last game is on November 13 at 6 p.m. MT (5 p.m. PT) against The Evergreen State College.
