Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights played College of Idaho on March 13 in the afternoon in Caldwell, Idaho. The Lights lost to the Yotes 12-26. Northern tallied 323 yards of total offense (230 passing and 93 rushing), while the Yotes accounted for 376, of which 124 yards were on the ground. There were four sacks on the night (two on Northern and two on College of Idaho). There were seven sacks, Northern gave up five sacks, to College of Idaho's two. Â

Brenden Medina went 17 for 32 through the air for 230 yards.
Dorian Miles caught six passes for 63 yards with one touchdown.
Andrez Trahan-Proctor carried the ball 29 times for 94 yards.Â
Cannan Smith added five carries for 16 yards. Northern's defense was led byÂ
Dylan Wampler, who accounted for eight total tackles four of which were solo and had one sack.Â
Joel Hadley had eight tackles and one breakup.Â
College of Idaho quarterback Jacob Holcomb completed 13 of 19 passes for 231 yards and one touchdown. Nick Calzaretta carried the ball 14 times for 89 yards with two touchdowns. Isaiah Veal had seven catches for 113 yards. The Yotes defense was led by Joey Calzaretta, who had 13 tackles. Dylan Martinez added seven tackles and had one interception.
The Lights so Far:
The Lights drop to 0-1 on the season. College of Idaho is 1-0 in the Frontier Conference.
Up Next:
The Lights have a bye next weekend and then they will head to Helena, Montana for a matchup with Carroll College on March 27. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.
