Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played in a Frontier Conference matchup against Montana Tech on Saturday afternoon. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in three sets (16-25, 18-25, and 19-25).
The Orediggers came out in the first set on an 8-2 run. The Skylights weren't able to caught up. Montana Tech went on an 8-1 run to extend the lead in the second set and take the set. At the beginning of the third set, the Orediggers took the lead early. However, Northern battled back and made a 9-0 run to take the lead (13-12). Montana Tech was able to put more runs together for the win the match.

The Skylights attack was led by
Elissa Lind, who tallied nine kills with eight digs.
Alana Graves had six kills.
Emily Feller led the team in assists with 22.
Rylee Burmester led in digs with 14.
The Orediggers were led by Karina Mickelson, who had 10 kills. Maureen Jessop added nine kills and 13 digs. Mckenna Kaelber led the team with 31 assists in the match. Hannah Oggerino had 12 digs on the day.

MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .010 on the day, while the Orediggers hit .232. The Skylights had 23 assists, as Montana Tech had 34. Northern also had 45 digs to Montana Tech's 50.Â
