Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played in a Frontier Conference matchup against University of Montana Western on Friday afternoon. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in four sets (27-25, 17-25, 17-25, and 19-25).Â
The Skylights went on 9-2 run to take the lead in the first set. Montana Western had a couple runs to cut the lead. Peterson killed to tie the game 23-23. The Skylights were able to pull the win. In the second set, Montana Western went on an 11-4 run at the beginning of the game and never looked back. The Bulldogs started the third match on a 10-1 run. The Skylights weren't able to catch up. The Bulldogs came out hot again getting up 6-19. The Skylights battled back, but it was out of reach.

The Skylights attack was led by Rylee Burmester and Elissa Lind, who each tallied 14 kills. Burmester also had 19 digs. Shania Neubauer scooped up 23 digs. Emily Feller added 24 assists.
Montana Western were led by Cady Siemion, with 13 kills with a hitting percentage of .195. Siemion led the team in digs with 25. Abbey Schwager led the Bulldogs with 45 assists in the match. Tannah Sellers led the team with 22 digs.
