Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played in a Frontier Conference matchup against University of Montana Western on Saturday afternoon. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in five sets (21-25, 25-11, 25-22, 22-25 and 3-15). The first match was anyone game until Western put together a couple runs to take the game. The Skylights came out hot in the second set with a run of 10-2 to start the set. The skylights momentum took them for the win.
In the third set, Northern was able to take the lead early and never look back. The fourth set was any one's game, until Western was able to put together a couple runs. Western jumped on the Skylights early and never looked back in the fifth set.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights attack was led by Rylee Burmester, who tallied 17 kills and added 14 digs. Elissa Lind added 14 kills and 12 digs. Shania Neubauer scooped up 19 digs. Emily Feller added 46 assists.
Montana Western were led by Abbey Morgan, with 16 kills with a hitting percentage of .278. Cady Siemion added 15 kills and 29 digs. Abbey Schwager led the Bulldogs with 50 assists in the match. Tannah Sellers led the team with 31 digs.

MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .152 on the day, while the Bulldogs hit .198. Northern also had 82 digs to Montana. Westerns 90. Northern had five aces.
