Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played in a Frontier Conference matchup against No. 17 Rocky Mountain College on Friday evening in Havre, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in five sets (26-28, 25-23, 25-18, 14-25 and 9-15).
Rocky kept the lead for almost the whole set, until
Elissa Lind killed it to take the lead 25-24. The Skylights had a couple errors to fall in the first set. In the second set, the Skylights put together a couple big runs to win the set. Northern started strong in the third set and put together some runs to take to set. Rocky got a big jump start in the fourth set and kept the lead throughout the set. In the fifth set, the Battlin' Bears went on a 9-2 run to take the match.

The Skylights attack was led by
Rylee Burmester, who tallied 14 kills with 11 digs.
Elissa Lind had 13 kills and 20 digs.
Emily Feller led the team in assists with 47.
Shania Neubauer led the team in digs with 27.
The Battlin' Bears were led by Monique Rodrigues, who had 17 kills and 11 digs. Weiying Wu had 15 kills hitting a percentage of .216. Natalie Hilderman led the team with 63 assists in the match. Ayla Embry led the team with 40 digs.
