Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona on Friday morning. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in three sets (24-26, 23-25, and 21-25). The Eagles started on top at the beginning of the first set. The Skylights batted back to tie the game 24-24. Embry-Riddle had two big kills to take the set.

The Skylights started the second set strong taking the lead 9-4. There were two errors from the Skylights for the Eagles to take the lead 13-12. Northern went on a 6-0 run to take back the leas 19-16. Embry-Riddle ended the set on a 6-3 run the take the set.

The Skylights were up 12-5 at the beginning of the third set. The Eagles went on a 14-3 run to take and extent the lead to 19-15. Northern just couldn't hold on any longer, as Embry-Riddle takes the match.
 
Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Abigail Ellison, who tallied eight kills with six digs. Rylee Burmester had six kills on the night. Shania Neubauer led the team in digs with 17. Emily Feller led the team in assists with 21.

Embry-Riddle were led by Erin Clark with 11 kills and added 16 digs. Elisa Pauzer added eight kills. Kat Yung led the team in digs with 18. Katie Rolle each had 14 assists on the night.

MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .055 on the day, while the Eagles hit .099. Northern also had 45 digs to Embry-Riddles 55.
