Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team played against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona on Friday morning. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in three sets (24-26, 23-25, and 21-25). The Eagles started on top at the beginning of the first set. The Skylights batted back to tie the game 24-24. Embry-Riddle had two big kills to take the set.
The Skylights started the second set strong taking the lead 9-4. There were two errors from the Skylights for the Eagles to take the lead 13-12. Northern went on a 6-0 run to take back the leas 19-16. Embry-Riddle ended the set on a 6-3 run the take the set.
The Skylights were up 12-5 at the beginning of the third set. The Eagles went on a 14-3 run to take and extent the lead to 19-15. Northern just couldn't hold on any longer, as Embry-Riddle takes the match.
