Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights won in their home opener against The King's University 75-56 on Friday in Havre, Montana. Northern made it a close race in the first quarter, as Ryley Kehr hit a free throw to go up by two going into the second quarter. The Skylights setting in a little, as they pushed the lead to 11 within three minutes of the second quarter. Northern was up going into half time 35-24. Coming out of halftime, the Eagles weren't going away as they outscored the Skylights in the third 20-16 cutting the lead to seven. Northern pushed the lead back to double digits to take the win.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Ryley Kehr, who had 19 points going 5-10 from the field. Syndey Hansen added 14 points going 4-7 from the field. Shyan Krass recorder her first double-double as a Skylights with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Eagles were led by Aneilia Ayotte with 21 points and six bounds. Megan Aleman had 19 points and led the team in rebounds with 10. Majeau and Bunting each added seven points.
