Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights lost in a Frontier Conference match up against Montana Western 73-65 in Havre, Montana on Saturday afternoon. The first half was a straight battle for both teams. The Bulldogs took the lead by 10, but the Lights battled back to take the lead going into half time 33-32. The second half was a back and forth game, until Western went on a 15-6 run to take the game by eight points.

The Lights were led by
Zackry Martinez with 18 points going 5-9 from the field.
Jesse Keltner had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Dae'Kwon Watson added nine points.
The Bulldogs were led by Brenton Woods with 18 points going 6-14 from the field. Grayson Nelson added 17 points and led the team in rebounds with seven. Ky Kouba had 12 points and five rebounds.

The Lights will head on the road to Butte to play Montana Tech on January 12 at 7 p.m. They will travel down the road to Helena, Montana to play Carroll College on January 14 at 4 p.m.
