Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team fell to No. 3 Eastern Oregon University on Friday afternoon in Butte, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in three sets (25-14, 25-20, and 25-15).

Eastern Oregon went on a 8-2 run to take the lead early in the first set. The Skylights tried to push back, but the Mountaineer put together a couple bigger runs at the end of the set to take the set 25-14.

The Mountaineer took the lead early in the second set 9-4. The Skylights fought back within two points (14-12). The set went back and forth, as the Skylights couldn't pass Eastern.

Eastern jumped on the Skylights early outscoring them 12-5 in the third set. Northern battled back with a couple points. However, the Mountaineers found their rhythm again to finish the set on a 9-4 run to take the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Alyssa Pretty Weasel with seven kills with a hitting percentage of .143. Alana Graves also added seven kills. Emily Feller led the team in assists with 14, as well as 15 digs.

The Mountaineers were led by Ashton Haughton who had 11 kills on 18 attempts hitting a percentage of .611. Alexia McMurtrey led the team in digs with 16, as well as assists with 21.

Stats of the Match:
The MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .065 on the day, while the Mountaineers hit .294. Northern also had 54 digs to Eastern Oregon's 63.
