Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights lost against Valley City State University 74-53 in Dickinson, North Dakota. The skylights outscored the Vikings in the first two quarters going into halftime up 34-24. Valley City went on a nine and one run cut into the lead after halftime. Diemert hit a three to take the lead with 4:20 left on the clock in the third. The Vikings kept the momentum into the fourth quarter holding the Skylights to six points.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Canzas HisBadHorse with 12 points going 5-8 from the field. Emma Wass came off the bench giving the Skylights a spark with 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Vikings were led by Maddie Ashlyn Diemert with 21 points going 8-13 from the field and added four assists. Abby Aslesen added 18 points going 10-11 from the free throw line.
