Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team lost in their first match back against Embry-Riddle on Thursday night in Butte, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights lost in four sets (22-25, 25-23, 25-21, and 25-23). The first set was a battle, as the Skylights finished the match 5-0 to take the set. The Skylights took the momentum into the second set taking the lead 12-7. The Eagles went on a 10-2 run to take the lead. The Skylights battled, but couldn't get over the hump.
In the third set, the Skylights took the lead early on, as Embry-Riddle come back in the second half of the set to take the set. The fourth set was a nail bitter, but Embry-Riddle just came out on top to take the match.
