Story of the Match:
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team won in their first match of the season against Our Lady of the Lakes on Friday night in Butte, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights won in three sets (26-24, 25-22, and 25-18). The first set was a close race to the finish. The Skylights went on a 5-2 run to take the set.

The Skylights took the lead early in the second set. The Saints didn't take the lead towards the end of the set. It wasn't long until Northern took back the lead and went on a 5-1 run to take the set. In the third set, the Skylights went a 7-0 run to take the lead early in the set. They kept the lead to end the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Alana Graves with 13 kills and a hitting percentage of .619. Josie Hasler added 6 kills with a percent of .208. Baily Egan and Macee Murphy led the team in digs with 18 each. Macee Murphy led the Skylights with 19 assists.

The Saints were led by Camila Ramirez with 18 kills hitting a percent of .224. Tina Trecino led the team in digs with 22, as Lauren Reynard led in assists with 26.
