Skylights Open Conference Play With a Win Over Montana Western 83-62

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights beat Montana Western in their first Frontier Conference game with a score of 83-62 in Havre, Montana. The game started slow, as the Skylights scored eight points to Westerns six. Northern pushed the lead in the second quarter going into halftime 31-23. The Skylights went on a 18-6 to finish the third quarter. The Skylights shot an incredible 83 percent from the field and three in the fourth to end the game.
 
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Taya Trottier who went 4-5 from the three-point line with 18 points and added eight assists. Savannah Toms added 15 points going 5-9 from the field. Shyan Krass added a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bulldogs were led by Trinidie Nichols who had 18 points going 7-16 from the field. Keke David added a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
