Maloy anchored the MSU-Northern defense with 77 digs over 12 sets, averaging an impressive 6.42 digs per set after going 2-1 home record in Frontier Conference action.
She opened the week with 29 digs against No. 7 ranked Providence (Mont.), a performance in which she surpassed 1,000 career digs. Maloy added 13 digs in a three-set victory over Valley City State (N.D.) before turning in her best performance of the week with 35 digs in a five-set win over Mayville State (N.D.).
Maloy averaged at least 6.5 digs per set in two matches during the week and contributed seven assists and seven service aces.
This is Maloy's first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week honor.
