Story of the Game
The MSU-Northern Lights fell 73-78 in an exhibition game to NCAA DI Montana State University Bobcats in Bozeman on Wednesday evening at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Northern went 9-24 from beyond the three-point line while the Bobcats went 2-11.

Five Lights scored in double digits: senior forward
Ryan Reeves and sophomore guard
Adam Huse led Northern with 13 each, sophomore guard
Devin Bray scored 12, and junior guards
Gabe Porter and
Caulin Bakalarski each posted 10 points.
Turning Point
In the first half of action, the Bobcats built a 10-point lead to go up 20-10. The Lights went on a 9-0 run to bring the game within one point and
Huse hit a three-point shot with 17 seconds left in the half to put the Lights ahead 39-38. MSU again built a 10-point lead in the second half, but the tenacious play of MSU-N on both the offensive and defensive ends tied the game at 67-67 with 4:00 minutes left. The Bobcats fired off five straight points and went on to win the game.
The Lights So Far
Northern remains 1-0 on the season as the exhibition game does not count towards the team record.
