Lights Basketball Started Strong at The Lewis-Clark Tournament

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights traveled to Lewiston, Idaho to play in the Lewis- Clark State Tournament on Friday night. The Lights first match up was New Hope Christian College, in which they won 122-55. Northern was able to hold their opponent to 25 points in the first half and 30 in the second.
 
Individual Stats:
The MSU-Northern Lights had six of their guys scoring in double digits. The Lights offense was led by Kavon Bey with 27 points making 13 of 17 field goals. Kavon added seven rebounds and five assists. Adam Huse and Mascio McCadney had 18 points each, as Adam went 6-6 behind the arc. Justin Dunsmore added 17 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Caulin Bakalarski and Cedric Crutchfield each had 10 points.
 
New Hope Christian College had two guys in double figures on the night. Jaylen Rose led the team with 21 points. Jebari Robinson had 14 points.
 
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights had a percentage of 62.5 from the field, 60 percent behind the arc, and 70 percent from the free throw line. Northern forced 16 turnovers, as Northern only had five. The Lights were able to convert 26 points off turnovers.
 
The Lights so Far:
The Lights go 2-0 overall for the season.

The Lights will play College of Idaho tomorrow Nov. 10 at 6 p.m.
