The Frontier Conference preseason all-conference team was announced by the league October 13.  Preseason all-conference teams were selected by the league's coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players. MSU-Northern was represented on the team by senior Mascio McCadney.  McCadney, a 6-foot-3 senior from Detroit, Michigan, Mascio led the Lights in scoring with 13.8 points per-game a year ago. He shot 46 percent from the field and 38 percent from the 3-point line and was a second team All-Frontier selection in 2019-2020.
