Tamera O’Leary commits to Skylights Cross Country for Fall 2021

Tamera O'Leary, a senior at Havre High, has signed a letter of intent to run cross country for the Montana State University-Northern (MSUN) women's cross-country team beginning fall of 2021.

Tamera, daughter of Tim and Halley O'Leary, is a 4-time state qualifier in cross-country at Havre High where she is also the 2020 home-coming queen and current member of Leadership High School and Blue Pony Tennis. O'Leary says she is most looking forward to going all out in school and sport next year and she is very grateful for all the support she's experienced from family, friends, teammates, coaches and teachers. She plans to major in Integrated Health Sciences and focus on prerequisite courses for admission into a dental hygiene program.

I've been most impressed with Tamera's optimism and support of her teammates. I really appreciate having that kind of affect on my teams. I've also observed her confidence and comfort with running in the 21 minute-area. She knows we're going to have shake that up a little and I think she's prepared to work on that that this summer. I'm really looking forward to working with her.
