Mascio McCadney hits 1,000 points on this last shot against Rocky Mountain College. In 2018-19, McCadney hit 422 points averaging 13.2 points per-game. His junior year he scored 429 points averaging 13.8 points per-game. Right now, McCadney is averaging 16.6 points per-game with several games left in his career.
"This is a remarkable feat, considering this is his third season and a short one at that" said Coach Huse. "What really validates it though, is the percentage he shoots, the fact that he gets a great deal of assists and rebounds, and is a great defender. And not to mention, Mascio is a great student and a great people person. He takes care of his work both on and off the court and is a fantastic teammate. It makes it extra special when huge milestones are reached by guys like Mascio. He is a high character, quality person who reached a level of point total that many very good college basketball players do not. I could not be more proud of, nor more happy for, Lights Basketball's new Lights 1,000-point-club member." Â
