KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. Graceland (Iowa) led the way with 19 honorees. Concordia (Neb.) finished a close second with 18.
The 2022 list features 609 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
The MSU-Northern Volleyball team had four student-athletes to receive this honor. Marlee Bender, Alana Graves, Emily Feller, and Hailie George. Senior Marlee Bender is majoring in Nursing. Junior Alana Graves is majoring in Nursing. Junior Emily Feller is majoring in Civil Engineering Technology. Junior Hailie George is majoring in Nursing.
