Lights Take Down the Battlin' Bears 74-64

Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights beat Rocky Mountain College 74-67 on Tuesday in Havre, Montana in the first rounds of the Frontier Conference Tournament. The Lights got a good jump on Rocky Mountain College, as they took the lead by 12. The Battlin' Bears cut the lead going into halftime 37-32. Fassu (Rocky) grabbed an offensive board and put back to tie the game up 46-46. Northern came back to take the lead by two to three points, until Bah hit a three-point shot to take the lead for the first time in the game with 3:53 on the clock. The Lights pulled together a 10-2 run to finish the game.

Individual Stats:
The Lights were led by Mascio McCadney, who had 18 points going 7-12 from the field. David Harris had 17 points going 7-14 from the field. CJ Nelson added 12 points. Jesse Keltner and Harris each led the team in rebounds with nine.

The Battlin' Bears were led by Abdul Bah, who had 26 points going 11-24 from the field. Jesse Owens added 16 points going 6-14 from the field. Beau Santistevan added 10 points and five rebounds. Nick Hart led the team with rebounds with 11.

Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Lights shot a field goal percentage of 52, 35 percent from the arc, and 55 percent from the free throw line.
 
Rocky shot 41 percentage from the field, 20 percent from the 3-point line, and 66 percent from the free throw.
