Montana State University-Northern head volleyball coach Jerry Wagner has announced the signing of Brooklyn Minden to join the Skylights program next year.
"I'm excited to announce the signing of Brooklyn Minden (position L/DS) to the Skylights Volleyball Program." said Coach Wagner."Â Â "Brooklyn's experience, athletic ability and volleyball skill set strengthens our team in all phases of the game. Her ball control, serving and defense are key elements of her game that will contribute to our continued success."
Minden is a 5-foot-3 Libero from Post Falls, Idaho. Brooklyn is a Junior transfer from North Idaho College. This past year at NIC, she had 104 assists, 60 aces, 813 digs, and 3.89 digs per-set.
"Brooklyn played volleyball for a very strong high school program at Post Falls High School, she competed on an Elite Volleyball Club (T3 Volleyball Club) with top flight coaching, and has now finished a 2 year career at North Idaho College. During her time at NIC she accumulated 813 digs, 104 assists and 60 Aces. Brooklyn was chosen team captain for the 2023 team and the NIC team finished in 2
nd place in the 2023 NWAC Championships."
Her freshman year (2022), their team finished fourth at the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). This past season her team finished Second Place at the NWAC tournament.

Macy Uffelman and
Emily Bird and a host of experienced veteran teammates in our continual efforts to be a strong force in the Frontier Conference. Academically, MSUN lined up very well with Brooklyn's interests as she will pursue a degree in Integrated Health Sciences. "
Brooklyn is the daughter of Chad and Carrie Minden.
When asked why she chose Northern she replied "I chose MSUN because I wanted to continue my volleyball career and felt this was the perfect place to do so. The school also offers the program that I wish to further my education with.
